Anny Giavelli

About

Ms. Anny Giavelli joined the firm in 2021 as a sustainable investment strategist. She is responsible for conducting sustainability analysis and applying innovative approaches to valuing sustainable investing trends and opportunities. She is also a member of the Sustainability & Impact Committee with focus on embedding Sustainability into investment process.

She has worked across Europe, Africa and Asia in wealth management, capital markets and NGOs with strong passion and focus on sustainable investments. Prior to Ecofin, Anny served as ESG and Impact Specialist in a private wealth management firm having built the ESG integration process and co-managed the Impact venture capital portfolio. Prior to that, she was co-leading the acceleration programme of a portfolio of social impact ventures in Sub-Saharan region. She started her career with Citigroup as APAC Equity sales in Hong Kong.

Born in China, raised in Italy and educated in the UK, Anny is fluent in multiple languages. She holds a double MSc in finance, financial engineering & risk management from Bocconi University and Imperial College Business School. She also holds a CISI Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice and CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Anny loves creating content on sustainability. She is also a qualified yoga teacher with dedication to meditation and breathwork.
